Why the Hawks?: My dad is a mad fan and as soon as I could kick a football I was in a Hawks guernsey - number 23 to be precise (DERMY).

Hi. I found this place by accident and being a life long Hawks supporter I figured I should sign up
I don't spend a lot of time on the net, but as the Mighty Hawks are travelling so well in 08 I seem to be searching for as much Hawthorn news as possible.
Living in Canberra is somewhat of an AFL black hole, as R/League and Union seem to get most press/TV exposure.

I'm looking forward to dropping bye from time to time.

I must say supporting the Hawks has been a life long obsession... I got my first hawks jumper at about 18 months and I think the number Dermies... I think the jumper was passe don to Andrew LOL (he's my Bro).

So anyways Just thought I'd say hi and look forward to spending the season with some supporters! (which is kinda hard from WA!)
